The audio satsang was a deeply moving experience for me. I recalled with an almost overwhelming intensity the presence of Baba when I met him in 1978 and 1980. The shining atmosphere that I experienced back then around Baba came alive again during the satsang, especially during the chant, which drew deep, deep tears of longing for Baba from my heart.
My entire life is what Baba’s teachings have given me.

Ten days ago, I participated in the audio
satsang. Still today, I can feel the strong
shakti of this event throughout my being. The chant brought me to the core of my heart, where I remained throughout the entire
satsang.
I have been determined to diligently follow the clear and precise directions we were given in this
satsang as the path shown by the Guru. I have been amazed to see the powerful
shakti supporting my every effort to do so.
Since participating in the
satsang, I have been reciting
Shri Guru Gita every morning, with great joy and concentration. As I recite this sacred text, I feel the
kundalini shakti active in my body. With each recitation, I feel that I am gaining greater understanding of the verses of
Shri Guru Gita. I believe that this, in turn, is deepening my understanding of the Guru’s teachings. Waves of love and devotion have been arising from within.

During the audio
satsang in celebration of Baba’s Birthday, I realized the power of reliving a memory of grace. I reexperienced the very first time that I heard the
namasankirtana. Even though it had been thirty-nine years since that happened in Gurudev Siddha Peeth Ashram, the details were as realas if it was happening in the present moment. It was as if no time had passed at all, although almost four decades had gone by.
As I recalled the impact of the first time that I heard this
namasankirtana, I found even greater meaning in the initial experience. I was able to see it through the lens of the myriad experiences that I have had over the many years since then—experiences that have led me to this current moment.
After this, I can truly say that my experiences of the Guru’s
shakti and of my own inner Self are beyond time and space.

I am so very grateful for this
satsang. Each time I participate in it, I go deeper into my own Self. I have had beautiful experiences of Baba. He is so present for me, like a dear friend and healer! His teachings are helping me to see my life from the true perspective.

During the audio
satsang, as I became absorbed in the chant, I felt a powerful energy pulling my awareness inside. I began to experience a brilliant inner sun, the light of the Self. I felt I was merging with that light.
In the days since the
satsang, remembering that experience has inspired me to be more vigilant, noticing where my mind is wandering and bringing it back again and again to that inner sun. With this remembrance, the experience of the
satsang has stayed with me, lighting up my days.
I offer my deepest gratitude to Shri Guru.

What great good fortune to be able to listen again and again to the audio satsang for Baba’s Birthday in the 24-hour period that began when I first participated! Each time, Baba’s words and the host’s questions went deeper inside me. The first time I listened to the entire satsang. The second time I focused especially on Baba’s talk and the host’s questions and suggestions for contemplation and practice. The third time I fully immersed myself in the chant.
So much love and gratitude arose in my being for Baba, and to Baba for giving us Gurumayi.

The title of the audio
satsang, “The Path to Attaining the Self,” was the spark that spurred me to register and participate. I had so wanted to take an active part in this month of celebrating Baba’s Birthday, and this
satsang gave me the opportunity to do so.
As the
satsang unfolded, I felt my body and senses respond very naturally, easily absorbing all of the sounds and visuals. I was completely present, truly part of the
satsang.
Since then, I feel as though I am carrying that experience forward. It is providing me with renewed enthusiasm for my
sadhana.

During a contemplation period in the audio s
atsang, I received inner guidance to meditate for an extended time each evening before going to sleep.
I have started to do this and plan to continue regularly throughout this year. I feel that this practice is beginning to remove blockages and shed impressions that have concealed my pure heart. Also, after meditating in this way, it seems as if I have slept absorbed in a soft, comforting vibration. My days also seem to benefit from this practice—they are calmer and more peaceful.
This experience has made me appreciate anew how profound the effects of contemplation can be.

Three of us, friends who meet monthly to recite
Shri Guru Gita, participated together in the audio
satsang in celebration of Baba’s Birthday.
As Shiva Gaskins, the meditation teacher for the
satsang, led us through the practices of contemplation, chanting, and meditation, and as we listened to the recording of the talk by Baba, our minds quieted, and we were each drawn into the experience of the Self. Afterwards we feasted on a delicious dinner and shared our experiences. We all loved how simple yet powerful the
satsang was.

Early during the Audio Satsang, my mind suddenly leapt to a vision of the Samadhi Shrine of our beloved Baba Muktananda. The shrine was glowing like a radiant sun, and the fragrance of jasmine flowers pervaded it. In that sacred place, I saw Gurumayi, seated in the lotus posture, chanting an avahan with pure love and complete focus.
During this vision my eyes closed gently and naturally, without any effort or any inner command. My mind left its weariness behind and glided smoothly into the sounds of chanting. I was ready to listen to the video of Baba’s talk. When it concluded, I could recollect every aspect of his talk in sequence.

I've just participated in the
satsang in honor of Baba's birthday, "The Path to Attaining the Self." Even before the
satsang officially began, I felt moved by the great love and infinite compassion of the Guru.
For me, this
satsang feels like a celebration of my own birthday too, because I now feel renewed in my
sadhana. I feel as though I have gained a profound understanding of how to follow the Guru's teachings in my daily life in a most significant way.
I believe that this
satsang is a sacred gift from Baba.
Happy Birthday, Baba!

Early in the Audio Satsang, my body filled with powerful, pulsating shakti, and even before the end of the chant, I was plunged into deep meditation.
The Siddha Yoga path continues to astonish me as the true meaning of the Guru’s words continues to be revealed.

I am so thankful for this Audio Satsang. As it unfolded, I felt that I was coming directly into contact with Baba. In fact, ever since I participated in the satsang, I have been smelling the sweet fragrance of heena all through these early days of May.

Each year I receive a direct experience of being with Baba when I participate in the audio
satsang in celebration of his birthday. After participating this year, I felt realigned with the Self, a sense of coming home, of being with Baba.
I look forward to participating in this audio
satsang again.
