Carol Overy began practicing the teachings of the Siddha Yoga path in 1989. For a number of years, Carol was a trustee of Siddha Yoga Dham Canada. She served on staff in the SYDA Foundation at Shree Muktananda Ashram from 2001 to 2005.

Carol lives in Leatherhead, Surrey, UK, and she offers seva as a member of the steering committee for the Siddha Yoga Meditation Centre in Egham. She has retired from a career in marketing. She has two children and one grandchild.
