Kesari Ames’s parents were Siddha Yoga students at the time of her birth in 1990. She began actively following the Siddha Yoga path as a young adult in 2017, attending weekly satsangs at the Siddha Yoga Meditation Center in Manhattan, New York.

Kesari began serving on staff at Shree Muktananda Ashram in the fall of 2019. Currently, she is in charge of teaching and learning events in the Ashram. Kesari has a bachelor’s degree in literature from Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York.
