About Mayuri Strattner

Mayuri Strattner was introduced to the Siddha Yoga path by a friend and classmate in 2007 while an undergraduate at the University of Vermont in Burlington. She attended the Siddha Yoga chanting and meditation group in that city, and from 2010 to 2015, she served as a staff member in Shree Muktananda Ashram.
Mayuri earned a BA at the University of Vermont and an MA in theological studies at Harvard Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She studied Sanskrit as a graduate student and took an immersive Sanskrit course in the summer of 2010 at the American Institute of Indian Studies in Pune, India. Currently, Mayuri is the administrator for a private boarding school. She lives in Newfane, Vermont, with her husband, Keith, and their young son.
