2017 Hearts in Nature 1

On the Siddha Yoga path, images of hearts serve as reminders of the great Heart, the Self of all, which is always present—within us and within everyone and everything.

Siddha Yogis especially associate images of hearts with Gurumayi; they remind us of her love for us and our love for her.

A wonderful way you can bring to mind the Guru’s love and grace is by observing heart shapes in the lines and forms of the world around you—in the clouds, flowers, seed pods, tree branches, rocks, movement of water, and more.

After immersing yourself in the images in the Hearts in Nature galleries, notice the effect on your awareness of your own heart as you go about your day. And you may begin to find heart shapes all around you! You are invited to share your experiences here on the Siddha Yoga path website.

Ever since the Siddha Yoga path website has been posting these beautiful photos of "Hearts in Nature," I see them everywhere I go. As I discover each one, I think to myself, “Ah, there is Gurumayi's love!” And, at that very moment, her love becomes palpable to me. I then carry this love with me throughout the day and find myself connecting from a loving place with the people I greet.

Thank you, Gurumayi, for reminding me of your love.

By visiting this gallery on a regular basis, I am always on the lookout for hearts wherever I go. And I’m discovering that hearts are everywhere when I am open to seeing them!

I also notice the effects that this practice is having on my daily life in general. I more naturally look for, and am able to see, the positive and good in others and in various situations.

I decided to practice looking into each image in this gallery as if I were looking into a mirror and seeing a reflection of myself and my life at this very moment.

As I looked for the heart in each image in this way, a shift occurred. I began to recognize and appreciate that beneath the outer circumstances of my life, I could find love. I saw that love is always there. I feel inspired now to take this practice into my daily life—to seek and recognize the presence of love in everything.

The Hearts in Nature photo gallery is delightful. It has inspired me to start my own Hearts in Nature photo album and I love it. The joy and wonder I experience looking at it, adding to it, and sharing it with others is a lovely gift.

Thank you, Gurumayi!
