Every time I watch Gurumayi’s Season’s Greetings, I am mesmerized by the twinkling lights in the water and remember descriptions I’ve heard of the experience of merging with Consciousness—how, in this experience, all matter turns into sparkling, scintillating light.
When these lights merged into images of Maharashtra, India, the home of so many great Siddhas, I was transported from my home to this sacred land of the saints and of others who have followed this path before me.
As the rising sun began to pulsate, I sensed that this was the light of the inner Self, our true, divine nature. And as this light became the center of the heart and Gurumayi’s sweet voice rang in my ears, I experienced joy and peace, the sweetest gifts of all!

Seeing all those sparkles in Gurumayi’s “Season’s Greetings” brought back to me an experience I once had at Shree Muktananda Ashram. It was a sunny day, and as I was walking along a path surrounded by trees and grasses and wildflowers, suddenly everything started to sparkle.
Everything was twinkling and sparkling!
I saw this as the natural state of creation—sparkling with love and light, just as Gurumayi’s “Season’s Greetings” video was itself a beautiful creation, sparkling with love and light.

I was fascinated by the music playing in the background, including the chimes and bells. I felt so happy when I saw the words ”With love” in my own language, Gujarati. It felt as if each heart with its different artwork was spreading love to me; through these hearts, I felt connected to every person on the path who speaks a different language.
When I saw Gurumayi's name beneath the flame and all the hearts, I felt that Gurumayi is igniting the flame of infinite love and joy from her heart to our hearts. At the end of the video, I fell instantly into a meditative state.
