About Garima Borwankar
Garima began practicing the Siddha Yoga teachings in 1971 in Lucknow, India. Since 1985, she has served as a visiting and home sevite and as a staff member in Gurudev Siddha Peeth and Shree Muktananda Ashram. She currently serves as a staff member in the SYDA Foundation.
Garima holds a BA degree from Isabella Thoburn College in Lucknow, India, where she studied psychology and English literature. She has worked as a journalist for an English daily newspaper in Lucknow. An avid writer and poet, she has composed many poems in Hindi and Urdu. Garima and her husband, Nitin, live in El Sobrante, California; their daughter, Vanita, works for Disney Animation Studios in Los Angeles.
About Vani Agrawal
Vani Agrawal began following the Siddha Yoga path in 1971 in Gurudev Siddha Peeth. She currently serves on staff with the SYDA Foundation as a Hindi translator and editor. Vani previously served on staff between 1985 and 1993, in both Gurudev Siddha Peeth and Shree Muktananda Ashram.
Vani has a bachelor of psychology and history and a post graduate diploma in journalism from the Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan in Lucknow, India. She lives in San Diego with her husband, Ganesh, and daughter, Arpita.
