Here is what I experienced as I viewed Gurumayi’s “Season’s Greetings 2020”: In the clouds I see a face that is not happy. But two twinkling hearts of stars give me hope amidst the darkness. Unforeseen, something new begins. I stand between moon and sun, between a darker and a lighter star, pairs of opposites. Then, I leave duality and time behind and focus on the lotus door. I enter the inner path -- a long protected way to the mountain. When I reach the top, there is no path any more. The most beautiful wheel comes into motion. Bliss is exploding in bliss; the stars are dancing!

Viewing Gurumayi’s “Season’s Greetings,” I am inspired to move ahead in my life with determination, steadfastness, and fearlessness, taking small steps and holding on to the love in my heart. As one image flows into the next, I am reminded that my goal is to live in the light of the

When I watched Gurumayi’s marvelous and beautiful “Season's Greetings 2020,” I was deeply touched. I felt that this animation expresses in pictures our
sadhana.
In the beginning, at the dawn, there is not so much light. But the Guru lights the path, so that we can move forward step by step, with courage and no fear, into the unknown territory. The farther the path is walked, the more light becomes visible and so many souls are following. When the procession of light circles up the mountain, it is reflected in the heart-shaped lake, which for me is the heart of Mother Earth. So even Mother Earth will become happy with all the light she receives in this way.
Then, when the top of the mountain is reached, the effulgent sun of enlightenment appears. Great joy is felt. All the stars are dancing. Finally, when the last lotus explodes, only light remains. Deep peace pervades the cosmos.

Two parts of Gurumayi’s “Season’s Greetings 2020” stood out for me. Seeing the mountain and the lake together reminded me of Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar, which are located near to each other in the Himalayas. It is a place I have visited on pilgrimage. When I was there, I sensed a dynamic, dialogic relationship between the mountain and the lake. I felt as if they are a couple in the same way that Shiva and Shakti are eternally in relationship with one another. “Season's Greetings 2020” reminded me of the similar dynamic relationships between effort and grace, power and receptivity, the Guru and the disciple.

This is such a beautiful gift to open in the quiet space between my meditation and my recitation of
Shri Guru Gita. The road reminds me of the road to Ganeshpuri when it was lined with ancient mango trees. The gentle path reminds me of the path leading to the top of the hill of Tapovan in Gurudev Siddha Peeth, with every step gently lit by the light of our Guru's compassionate grace and love. This lovely vision of the dawn of enlightenment gives me a deep feeling of peace, hope, and love.

A few days before Gurumayi’s “Season's Greetings” went online, I had a dream. I saw myself walking up a mountain path. The path was luminous and brightly lit. But the higher I got, the narrower the path became and I had to watch every step carefully. Finally at the top I didn't know anymore

When I watched the “Season's Greetings” video, I was deeply touched by the synchronicity, the path—the golden path—and I immediately understood what I had to do on the mountaintop: sit down and meditate, and become one with the Absolute.

On my first viewing of Gurumayi's “Season’s Greetings” video, I was just mesmerized by the beautiful images unfolding on the screen. On my second viewing, I began to see all of these wonderful metaphors—the exquisite path we are shown at the beginning of our journey, with the Guru lighting every step of the way, one step at a time. We move along this path in a spiral, and sometimes we cannot see how far we have come. But in the end we all reach the pinnacle, which is the splendorous
sahasrara.

Goldberg Variations. This is special to me because I have been studying and practicing exactly this music in the past several weeks! I feel deep gratitude and joy for this wonderful sign of synchronicity.

“Season’s Greetings 2020” struck a very personal and heartwarming note for me. As I viewed it a number of times, I remembered my search for God, looking for the Truth when I was in my teens in the 1960s and 1970s. More than once in those years, I would look into the night sky and wonder, imagine, pray for the Truth, pray with all my heart to know God—"Please God, guide me to you!"
As the images in the video moved from the sky to the lotus, I remembered when I first began to walk the Siddha Yoga path. The path has always been well lit, with the heart of the Truth in front of me as I journey up the mountain. With a strong sense of resolve, I know I will fully experience the rays of light streaming from the top of the mountain.

It is so wonderful to receive Gurumayi's blessing for the holiday season. I experienced such a confirmation of a recent contemplation I’d been doing on what has sustained me during this difficult time. I found the “Season's Greetings” card from Gurumayi to be playful and profound at the same time. I viewed it three times, seeing it as a
dharana, a centering exercise. As I watched where the images were taking me, I knew that we walk the path to

I loved seeing the sun chakra rising and its reflections in the lake of the heart.
