Nature is so bright at Shree Muktananda Ashram! The flowers, the trees, even the grass—all seem to have a special internal light and energy. All seem to receive energy from the prayers and the chanting, and from Gurumayi’s gaze as she passes by. There is a fullness, a grace, a special order in every manifestation of nature in these photos. Even the sky speaks with the clouds and often with astonishing lights.
I heard once Gurumayi say that you can learn a lot by looking at the sky in Shree Muktananda Ashram. This is how I began to learn to understand the language of the divine in nature.

The photographs that mix the beauty of the land and the animals of Shree Muktananda Ashram are so vibrant and peaceful. And the photographs that depict nature with the sacred places in the Ashram are double magic for me—like the photograph that pictures the orange flag signaling that the Guru is in residence with the full moon just above it, or the one showing the reflection of the small white lights in the inner sanctum of the Bade Baba Temple with an illuminated Lord Ganesh and the full moon outside. bhava are astonishing and inspire a sweet longing inside my heart.
