I have always wondered why seeing rainbows fills my heart with such awe. After watching this video over and over again and chanting with all my heart, I understand why.
For me, the magnificence of the rainbows with the clear blue backdrop of the sky reflects the vastness and beauty of the inner sky—the place I go to when I am connected to the Self. It affirms the beauty and the wonder of my own inner world.

My heart opened and soared to the heavens when I saw the most beautiful rainbow perfectly radiating over our beloved Shree Muktananda Ashram! When seeing the double rainbow, I immediately felt that Bade Baba and Baba were gracing us with their presence. Nature is celebrating Bade Baba’s Punyatithi and Baba’s Divya Diksha Day in this most beautiful way.

I’ve just moved from a big city into an old farmhouse in a tiny, remote village. We were so busy working on the house that I’d neglected my practices. However, I had just set up a small
puja and started lighting a candle several days in a row.
In early August, while out for a walk, I saw a huge, complete double rainbow, arching over the entire village. I was immediately reminded of my Guru and my beloved Siddha Yoga path. It felt like a sweet greeting. And for the next few days, even more rainbows appeared right behind my house.
When I read the title for the Celebration Satsang: “The August Presence,” it started dawning on me: maybe there indeed
is a connection! Still, a ray of doubt lingered: am I worthy enough for a connection between the rainbows in my village and Guru's grace? This ray of doubt then turned into liberating joy, laughter, and jubilation when I saw the photos of the rainbows over the Temple! I simply can't help it any longer: I
do feel personally welcomed into this remote village by “the august presence” of Bade Baba himself. What sweetness, what love, what fun!

This auspicious weekend I have dedicated to honor, lovingly remember, and worship our beloved Bade Baba and Baba. This morning when I eagerly opened the Siddha Yoga path website, and saw the video with the magnificent display of all the rainbows, I felt our Gurus were smiling down at us all, bestowing love and grace in the form of these rainbows from “the heavenly sky.” I felt welcomed and offered a heart-centered
pranam to them all. What an auspicious way to begin this blessed weekend!

What a wonder-filled treat! A rainbow truly is a sign from heaven, from God, from the Guru. It carries hope. It is auspicious. It radiates peace, happiness, and love.
The day after Gurupurnima I saw just such a double rainbow at home. I found it so special that underneath the purple stripe there were even more stripes of light in different colors. I had never seen such a rainbow before— and here I see the same again in this sacred place! Is God's light on Earth beoming more abundant? Or do I notice it more clearly than before? Does the sky reflect it better? I don't know the answers. But what I feel is wonder and awe.

When I saw the rainbows, so vivid and strong, that seem to protect the space above and around Shree Muktananda Ashram, I felt that God is pleased with us and he is protecting us all. I felt that I'm not alone in the ups and downs of life when I am able to access its infinite beauty and to recognize God's presence everywhere.

When I opened up the Siddha Yoga path website this afternoon, I was so touched to find “The Heavenly Sky” video and the accompanying chant of Om Guru Jaya Guru. Because of forest fires, it has been smoky in the western United States where I live, so to see the blue sky and rainbows over Shree Muktananda Ashram was reassuring. The accompanying chant was soft and gentle, sung beautifully—a balm for my heart and a connection to the source of the sweet and the good.

I just couldn't stop smiling—and I still am. What a treat this video is! I half expected a third rainbow to appear at any moment.
