This meditation made me feel very safe. I could identify how the power of grace has surrounded me with protection, comfort, and warmth. I was extremely grateful when I paid attention to the blessings all around me.

I love how Baba describes how grace is found in all directions. It is so comforting to know that Shri Guru’s love for us—in the form of grace—is surrounding us all the time and in every place! Such bliss!

Very soon I will be taking my first long-distance trip since the pandemic began over three years ago. Because traveling by airplane has become so unfamiliar to me, I have been very nervous about almost every aspect of the trip. But when I read this teaching of Baba’s about the all-pervasiveness of the Guru’s grace, I was very touched and felt as if Baba were looking down on me and knowing that I needed just this kind of reassurance.

Since I will be traveling from east to west and back again, and since I will be flying high above the landscapes below, knowing that “the power of grace” will follow me on every step of my journey comes as a great blessing. And when I remember how much grace has accompanied me on earlier, much more complicated trips I have taken, I can see that this teaching is the ideal antidote to all my prior worries! I am deeply grateful for its arrival in my life—and in my heart.

Here is what arose for me after doing the dharana for Baba’s Teaching #11:  There is nowhere where this grace is not. There is nowhere I can go, nothing I can do that would ever separate me from this grace, the power of the Guru’s benevolent intention.

This grace is always surrounding me, embracing me, and it is also within me, in every particle of my being. This grace is God’s love, the Guru’s love—forever, untiringly, unstoppably guiding me toward freedom, toward recognition of the Truth of the Guru’s teachings.

I went into deep meditation following this dharana. As I meditated, I felt as though I was bathing in a vast ocean of Guru’s love, which was all around me. After a few moments, I experienced the presence of Kundalini Shakti guiding me in my meditation. By surrendering to my Guru, I was able to follow that guidance, which brought me to a state where I experienced nothing but bliss. It felt like a moment of oneness with the Guru’s grace, which was so beautiful.
