This teaching is a powerful reminder for me to simply set aside a time and a place to meditate, and for my other Siddha Yoga practices. I am deeply grateful for the power and simplicity of this teaching. My Guru’s grace and wisdom are giving me the opportunity to live a perfect life.

I experience great benefit from following Baba’s teaching “It is very good to set aside a time and place for meditation.”
Every morning and night, I go to my meditation room and practice meditation. In the morning, this centers and re-energizes me so that I can face the challenges of the day. In the evening, meditation melts away all the stress of the day, calming me and bringing me into a zone of peace and tranquility as I prepare to sleep.

This morning, as I meditated guided by the
dharana on Baba’s teaching, I envisioned a tree being planted in nature. I pictured it sprouting many flowers that then transformed into very sweet fruits filled with pure nectar.
While I was tasting this fruit in my meditation, I spontaneously recalled the image of a dear friend’s newborn baby boy. I remembered how incredible it had been to see photos of that baby, with his eyes closed and a hint of a smile, exuding bliss and calm.
As I continued to meditate, the memory of this child merged with my experience of the tree. I saw that he represented both the fruit of his parents’ love and the taste of the nectar of the fruit that I had picked.
It is an extraordinary thing to receive Baba’s teachings every day in May. I’m so grateful and happy.

I love the practice of listening to and meditating on the daily
dharana on Baba’s teachings. It soothes and nourishes my heart and keeps me in contact with my inner Truth. It leaves me in a peaceful state of mind and feeling as though I am fully awake for the rest of the day.
I have decided to make this my daily practice for the month of May. I will listen to and meditate on the
dharana twice a day. I will also reflect on it each day in a special journal. I am loving this practice, which I am diving into with great joy. The Siddha Yoga path website is truly a gem. It is my precious companion and offers me constant support in my
sadhana. I am deeply grateful for this treasure house, which feels so alive with Gurumayi‘s love and
shakti.

This morning is magical. I participated in the
dharana for the first time early this morning upon waking. As I am preparing to participate again now, I find myself chanting and preparing my
puja with a special lilt and joy. Such gifts! Thirty-one unique opportunities to engage in transformative meditation, and I can participate as many times as I wish!
I am experiencing such gratitude for the practice of meditation and for having Baba Muktananda in my life. Participating in “Teachings to Live By” is strengthening my meditation practice and helping me prepare for the gifts of
satsang during this special month.
