Meditation with the mantra is so easeful. I am so grateful to Baba ji for this precious teaching. As I followed the dharana, I could see how my restless mind was pulling me outside with numerous thoughts and worries about incomplete tasks. But then, I experienced how steadily the mantra was taking me deep inside, very deep, where thoughts didn’t affect me anymore.

This teaching feels like a priceless gift from Baba, showing me how to repeat the mantra with devotion. As I recited the mantra with love, in the way I would say “I love you” to a loved one, I gained a better understanding of being one with the mantra. As I repeated it to myself silently, it felt as though  I, the object, was listening to I, the subject, lovingly utter the mantra. The loving emotion I felt simultaneously flourished in my experience as both the speaker and the listener. The instant each syllable was uttered, it was heard, with the same awareness experiencing both speaking and listening, without separation.
