Siddha Yoga Satsangs via Live Video Stream
in Honor of Bhagavan Nityananda’s Punyatithi
and Baba Muktananda’s Divya Diksha

July 25, 2023

Dear reader,

Namaste.

“The month of Gurupurnima, a life of gratitude”—this was the refrain Swami Ishwarananda gave in his talk during the Siddha Yoga Satsang in Honor of Gurupurnima Month, and it continues to resonate in the hearts of all the people who follow the Siddha Yoga path.

When we participated in the satsang for Gurupurnima month, we also acknowledged Bhagavan Nityananda’s lunar punyatithi, which took place earlier this month. Very soon, we will be commemorating Bhagavan Nityananda’s solar punyatithi on August 8, and Baba Muktananda’s Divya Diksha on August 15.

Bhagavan Nityananda’s Punyatithi

Many of you may recall “A Day in the Temple,” which was held on Thanksgiving 2020 in the Siddha Yoga Universal Hall. You will be pleased to know that the SYDA Foundation will be holding a similar celebration this year in honor of Bhagavan Nityananda’s Punyatithi.

The live video stream will be on Saturday, August 5—three days in advance of the holiday, so that it’s convenient for you to participate. It will begin at 6:00 a.m. and continue until 6:00 p.m. New York time. At any point during the day, you may visit the Siddha Yoga path website to receive Bade Baba’s darshan and to do the Siddha Yoga practices in the Temple.

Baba Muktananda’s Divya Diksha

On Saturday, August 12, we will once again have occasion to come together in the Universal Hall. There will be a Siddha Yoga satsang in honor of Baba Muktananda’s Divya Diksha. It will take place via live video stream from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. New York time. In this satsang, we will chant Om Namah Shivaya, the diksha mantra, or initiation mantra, that Baba would impart to his devotees.

August: the gift of miracles, the gift of divine initiation. From one month to the next, the transformative power of Siddha Yoga satsang—of the Siddha Yoga path—is manifest.

With good wishes,
