Pamela Roberts was introduced to the Siddha Yoga path when a friend invited her to participate in a
satsang during Gurumayi Chidvilasananda’s Teachings Visit to Atlanta, Georgia, in 1986. The following year Pamela began offering
seva in the Siddha Yoga Meditation Center in Atlanta, and she now serves on the center’s board of directors.
Pamela holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. She did graduate work in music at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, and in filmmaking at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. During her career as an executive producer for the Public Broadcasting System, Pamela produced, wrote, and directed award-winning television documentaries, including films for the PBS American Masters series. She lives in Atlanta.
