Today I took some worthwhile time to look through the January 2025 Nature in Shree Muktananda Ashram galleries. My mind became quiet immediately, and I felt like I was traveling through time—through the cycles of the winter landscapes with their natural features and beings such as birds, trees, clouds, the moon, the snow falling and melting, water in all its forms. I marveled at how subtly diverse the winter landscapes could be, how time was always present—non-distractive and meditative, hibernating and resting, yet very much alive.
Observing time in nature is a wondrous spectacle for me, truly poetic, truly awesome.

These images of radiant nature unfold in me the awareness that when I look for beauty, I find beauty; when I look for love, I experience love; when I intend to make my time worthwhile, I make my time worthwhile.

The photographs of the dawn stir within me this beautiful feeling: as I view the color that has been infused into the morning, I feel I have been infused with the Guru’s shakti, with the light of the divine, so that I may begin anew in offering my day—and my life—to my Guru and this extraordinary path.

The image of the sun rising over Shree Muktananda Ashram and the neighboring trees made me think of how blessed I am—to wake up every morning to a new adventure on the Siddha Yoga path with our beloved Shri Guru!

The ever-new photos of Shree Muktananda Ashram encourage me to look freshly at my
sadhana, and rededicate myself to it over and over again each day.

For a long time I have been visiting the Nature Gallery as a way to slow down. Viewing the images of Lake Nityananda, peeking through the Temple windows at Bade Baba, and taking in glimpses of Gurumayi always give me so much contentment.
