Puja, the act of worship, purifies the mind. It supports the mind to turn within and rest in its true nature. As you view photos of the Navaratri puja at Shree Muktananda Ashram, you may wish to hold an awareness of the intention for the puja.
Visualize each element of this intention coming to fruition. As you hold the intention in your mind, let it blossom within your heart. When you align your mind and heart with this intention, you help to share the benefits of this puja with the world.
This intention is so powerful; it has taken me by joyful surprise. This morning after meditation, out of the blue a question arose within me: “What should be my focus in life going forward?” I was amazed to see the response from within my heart:
dharma,
artha,
kama and,
moksha.
I started reflecting on where I am in my life now in reference to these four goals and how I might realign and refine my efforts to move forward. I was thrilled when I then saw the
puja intention. For me, it confirmed my inner guidance and sense of alignment with the
shakti.
Thank you, Gurumayi, for your guidance within and without.
