Saint Raidas (also known as Saint Ravidas) was a fifteenth-century mystic and poet from Varanasi, India. He was a devotee of Saint Ramananda and the Guru of Saint Mirabai. Raidas was also a contemporary of Guru Nanakdev, from the Sikh tradition. The sacred book of the Sikhs, Shri Guru Granth Sahib, contains the oldest and most comprehensive collection of poetry attributed to Raidas.
