I was so moved by Gurumayi’s chanting to Baba that a poem of gratitude arose from within me.
My world is nearly silent now
But a voice breaks through the quiet, loud and clear.
The voice that
melts my heart as she implores me
to rise to my greatness.
That voice
is all I need to hear.

Chanting "Om Namo Bhagavate Muktanandaya" with Gurumayi in this enchanting, soothing Bilaval raga instantly drew me inwards, to the place where pure love and happiness flourish. I experienced this feeling throughout the chant as I visualized Baba's image in my heart. My breath eased as I could feel all the niggling worries leaving me.
I was in the moment, and with God.

I experienced so much love and gratitude when I chanted “Om Namo Bhagavate Muktanandaya” with Gurumayi on Dasera. There was light shimmering in everything.
This experience made me very aware that my view of the world depends entirely on my state. Nothing had changed in the world outside, but how I saw and experienced the world changed completely. Love and shakti pervaded everything. I experienced pure love, and I remembered how much love I have received in my life in so many ways. God is with me all the time in every situation. I am never alone!

Today, on the night of Dasera, I've been chanting this beautiful namasankirtana with Gurumayi. The chanting is full of love and sweetness. I felt it as the embodiment of Dasera's power: no matter what kind of darkness we may face, at the end love, tenderness, light, and grace prevail.

While I was listening to this chant, I felt so content, as if I had just had a lovely cup of chai and all was well in the world. I also noticed the long aa sound was very prominent. To me, it felt like I was saying, “Ahh, Baba. I bow to you. Ahh, Baba, salutations! Ahh, Baba, you are the great one. Ahh, Baba—the bliss of freedom.”

Hearing AUM, the primordial syllable, in this
namasankirtana transports me back to the many times I participated in chanting with Gurumayi in Muktananda Mandir in Shree Muktananda Ashram. My being is bathed in the nectar of chanting, and I am feeling pure bliss!
