Chanting with these
namasankirtanas, I feel I am keeping company with my Guru, day by day. I find that chanting whichever
namasankirtana is on the homepage soothes and uplifts my being. I have the usual chants I like to play, and this practice of chanting the day’s
namasankirtana has helped me to loosen my idea of what the world should look like. I find that the more I do this, the better I am able to love the world as it is.
As I chant
Shri Gurudeva Sharanam today
, I experience the peaceful, loving presence and the protection of grace, and I feel that everything will be—and is now—truly all right.

Recently, after experiencing a long, happy period of well-being, love, and compassion, my mood dipped a bit. Today, after my meditation practice, I felt the need to listen to the
namasankirtana of the day, which was
Shri Gurudeva Sharanam. As soon as I read the words of this chant, I thought that I really wanted to “take refuge in my beloved Shri Guru.”
The sense of protection I experienced when practicing this
namasankirtana was powerful. I felt lulled by its sweet melody. The words that conclude the song were a true balm for my troubled heart. Imagining myself bowing at the feet of Bade Baba and Baba gave relief to my soul, and the tension I had been feeling was transformed into positive energy and pure love.

As I join in this
namasankirtana, I feel as though I am chanting along with everyone, and we are all singing together with Gurumayi. I experience that time and distance dissolve in the Heart, filling me with grace.

I am so happy that every day this month there is a different, beautiful chant on the Siddha Yoga path website. And so many of them give me the opportunity to chant along with Gurumayi! I feel like I’ve been given the best gift in the world.
