Meditation Sessions 2017 via Audio Stream

This series of seven Siddha Yoga meditation sessions were live audio streamed via the Siddha Yoga path website, and are now available via webcast in English and with voice-over translation in French, Hindi, and Spanish. The meditation sessions are led by Siddha Yoga meditation teachers.

About Teresa Rubio

Teresa Rubio

Teresa began practicing the Siddha Yoga teachings in Mexico City in 1984. She currently offers seva in the SYDA Foundation as a Siddha Yoga meditation teacher.

Over the years, Teresa has served in many capacities. Since 1998, she has offered seva in the Siddha Yoga Dham de Mexico, including as a member of its steering committee. Teresa has also served as an administrative assistant in the SYDA Foundation Board of Trustees office in Shree Muktananda Ashram, and in the Board of Trustees office in Gurudev Siddha Peeth.

Teresa earned a BA in Business Administration from La Salle University in Mexico City. She works as an independent painter in the visual arts field. She lives in Mexico City with her husband, José.

About Paul Hawkwood

Paul Hawkwood has been following the Siddha Yoga path for twenty-nine years. From 1982 to 1992, Paul and his wife Achala Woollacott hosted a Siddha Yoga meditation center in their home in Eugene, Oregon. Currently, Paul offers seva as a writer and editor in the SYDA Foundation Content Department. He also serves on the leadership team for the Siddha Yoga Meditation Center in Eugene and as a Siddha Yoga meditation teacher in Sadhana Retreats in the United States and Europe.

Paul has a bachelor’s degree in religion and English from Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington, and a master’s degree in composition and rhetoric from Eastern Washington University. Paul recently retired after teaching English at Linn-Benton Community College for thirty years. He lives in Eugene with his wife, Achala Woollacott.

About Leonardo Russo

Leonardo Russo began following the Siddha Yoga path in 1988. He has offered seva as a Siddha Yoga meditation teacher since 1992 and has taught in Siddha Yoga Sadhana Retreats, Family Retreats, Muktananda Dhyana Saptah in Europe, United States and Brazil.

Formerly a lawyer and a journalist, he is now a property manager in Rome, where he lives with his wonderful wife and lovely daughter.

About Patrick Ramacciotti

Patrick began practicing the Siddha Yoga teachings in 1983 in Paris, France. Between 1994 and 2006, Patrick served in leadership positions for the Siddha Yoga Meditation Center in Paris and the national organization for the Siddha Yoga path in France. He currently offers seva as a Siddha Yoga meditation teacher. He also serves as the Intellectual Property Coordinator in France.

Patrick has a Master of Science degree from École Polytechnique in Paris. He is retired from his work as a manager in business and information systems.
Patrick lives in Paris with his wife.

About Shalini Davies

Shalini Davies began her Siddha Yoga practice in 1983 in Melbourne, Australia, and has offered seva as a Siddha Yoga meditation teacher for twenty-two years. She has taught in Siddha Yoga courses, Sadhana Retreats, and Shaktipat Intensives throughout Australia, as well as in Pilgrimage to the Heart Retreats in Gurudev Siddha Peeth. Shalini also served as the Siddha Yoga meditation teacher on the Siddha Yoga Chanting Tour: Australia 2014—Satyam Shivam Sundaram. She and her husband Doug hosted a Siddha Yoga chanting and meditation group for many years in Melbourne, and at present she offers seva from home and as a visiting sevite in the SYDA Content Department.

Shalini is a freelance writer and a former school teacher who taught in Australia’s indigenous communities. She and her husband live in Melbourne, and they have four adult children.

About Mark McLaughlin

Mark began following the Siddha Yoga path on New Year's Day 1996 in Palm Springs, California. He currently offers seva as a writer and scholar in the SYDA Foundation Content Department, and as a member of the Academic Advisory Council of the Muktabodha Indological Research Institute. Mark has served on staff in Shree Muktananda Ashram—in 1996 and 1997 in the Multimedia and Facilities Coordination Departments, and in the Publications Department in 2012. He also served on staff in the Temple and Shakti Punja Departments in Gurudev Siddha Peeth in 2000 and 2001.

Mark is a visiting assistant professor of South Asian religions at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. He holds a master's degree and a PhD in South Asian religions and Sanskrit from the University of California, Santa Barbara, as well as a bachelor's degree in ancient art history from California State University, Long Beach.

Mark lives in Williamsburg, Virginia, with his wife and two sons.

About Rashi Choudhury

Rashi Choudhury participated in her first Siddha Yoga Shaktipat Intensive in 1999 in Mumbai, India.

Rashi is a Siddha Yoga meditation teacher and has offered seva in a number of roles at Gurudev Siddha Peeth and the Siddha Yoga Meditation Center in Bangalore, India. She served as a Gurukula student in Gurudev Siddha Peeth from 2003 to 2004. Currently, as a home sevite, she is a member of the content team for Neeleshwari, a monthly bilingual Siddha Yoga magazine in India. Rashi also serves as a visiting sevite in Gurudev Siddha Peeth in the Taruna Poshana Department.

Rashi holds a bachelor’s degree from Lady Irwin College and a post-graduate diploma in advertising and public relations from the Institute of Mass Communications, both in Delhi. She has worked as an advertising copywriter for a number of years.

Rashi lives in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, with her husband, their two sons, and her mother-in-law.
