I had been having some anxiety about my financial well-being. Although I actually have more material wealth than I have ever had, I worry about my welfare as I get older, and I notice that my choices are driven by a fear of not having enough.

When I read in Gurumayi’s benediction that “love for God is the true wealth,” I realized that this is the wealth I have invested in throughout my life. I understood that with love of God, with shri, I am whole and I am all I need to be.

This remembrance encourages me to stay focused on this true wealth as I continue to offer my best to life, trusting that I will be guided to make choices and decisions that will benefit not only myself but the world I live in.

Gurumayi’s elaboration of shri and yashas melted my heart. I took some time to visualize these golden virtues alive within the Gurus of the Siddha Yoga lineage.

I became more aware of my gratitude for the opportunities we have received to be in the presence of Bhagavan Nityananda. For me, he is an embodiment of light and eternal peace. At these times, I also recall my gratitude for Gurumayi’s and Baba’s teachings. Because of these gifts, I feel I am able to rest my mind at my Guru’s feet during stormy times.

I see shri and yashas now as my shield of protection. A deeper understanding of each is now cherished prasad from my Shri Guru.

I loved Gurumayi’s Benediction and its descriptions of shri and yashas. When Gurumayi invoked Bade Baba’s grace, I imagined that I was in the Bhagavan NityanandaTemple at Shree Muktananda Ashram. As I looked at Bade Baba’s golden, gleaming murti, I became engulfed in a feeling of radiant love and felt empowered to be a source of light in my encounters in life.

Gurumayi’s Benediction, her blessing, permeated my eyes, my ears, my feelings, my mind. I love the way it is so beautifully presented. Its exquisite colors and sound make it inviting to me to enter into the qualities of shri and yashas that it describes.

At work today, I made it my intention to bring the virtues of shri and yashas that the Benediction depicts into my interactions with my co-workers. I used the beautiful tinkling sound of a bracelet I was wearing to remind me of my goal. As a result, I noticed that my conversations, although demanding, sparkled for me with kindness and gratitude. I’m grateful for the constructive and supportive work environment I experienced from this focus, and I hope others benefitted from this too.

I feel truly amazed and grateful for the way Gurumayi endlessly pours out her love, her artistry, her teachings, her time, and her grace on us.

Gurumayi opens my heart to more love again and again.

As I read and listened to Gurumayi’s Benediction, I could envision Bhagavan Nityananda beaming forth shri and placing a precious stone gently onto a pillow that rests in the center of my beautiful heart. The stone is emblazened with Bhagavan’s light and love to guide and protect me through the rest of my journey.
