Gurumayi’s “Words to the Wise” are like a cool rain in the heat of the desert for me. During these challenging times, I feel Gurumayi’s blessings every single day. Having Gurumayi’s
darshan has been priceless!

Gurumayi’s “Words to the Wise” remind me that, on the one hand, Shri Guru`s grace is always with me. On the other hand, they also remind me that it is up to me to make the effort, through the Siddha Yoga practices, to enter into my heart, where I can find Peacefulness of the Self.

When I received Gurumayi’s
Words to the Wise, my heart was so open after spending the day in the Temple with Bade Baba that I could truly hear Gurumayi’s words with my inner heart. I allowed these mantras to nourish, inspire, and remold me into right thinking, to creating an authentic, beautiful life.
Again and again I have
darshan of Gurumayi’s words and take them deeper, and each time a little more opening and integration seems to take place in my being. It feels as though grace is silently, wordlessly designing my world anew, heart-to-heart with Gurumayi’s shining heart.

For the last several hours I have been craving something to enrich my soul, but I did not know what exactly. As I contemplated what would fulfill my longing, I thought of logging onto the Siddha Yoga path website. I saw
Gurumayi's Words to the Wise and was overjoyed that such an opportunity to receive was so readily available. Each screen was resonant with its own unique and enriching thoughts, ideas, and reminders of the teachings that I have been learning and re-learning for the many decades that I have been following the Siddha Yoga path. I am very grateful.

There is so much to contemplate in Gurumayi’s
Words to the Wise. For me, these words, “Understand that trying to make sense of something that is beyond repair is a futile endeavor,“ have helped me release the need to perpetuate that which is no longer beneficial to my
sadhana or my life.

Gurumayi’s “Words to the Wise” speak to my heart and set out a clear approach for me to take as I face a significant challenge. With each phrase, I feel guided and empowered toward making a beneficial choice. And I am also reminded that it is grace that will support success in all my efforts.

Gurumayi’s words vibrate in my whole being, and I am drawn into a serene, silent space. Then, from the silence, a response emerges:
The truth will set you free.
I am grateful with all my heart for this gift of wisdom.

Reading these “Words to the Wise” from Gurumayi—this poem, which, among other things, speaks about the power of our words and speech—I marveled at Gurumayi’s own use of language. Each word, each phrase, is potent and pulsing with meaning.
One of the phrases that I was drawn to study further was the one in which Gurumayi speaks of the refined mind as “never breaking away from its commander, the supreme Self.” What I learned is that this is precisely how the Upanishads describe the supreme Self—as the controller or commander that impels all of creation, including our own mind and senses.
I’m awed and delighted by this linguistic echo of the Indian scriptures in Gurumayi’s precious words for us. And it’s prompted me to further contemplate how I can be more conscious of, and act in accordance with, that which truly commands my mind as I go about my life.

"Gurumayi's Words to the Wise" expresses how I wish to grow in my
sadhana and to share the knowledge I have gained with others. It is a profound way to be—and so effortlessly, when it comes from the heart. Keeping my eye on achieving my goal of completing my journey is paramount and always sustained by the Guru's love and grace and guidance. Each breath is so precious.
I offer my deep gratitude for how Gurumayi has shown me how to be in this year of “Peacefulness of the Self.” I am deeply grateful for all I have discovered this year under Gurumayi’s incredible guidance.

When I first heard Gurumayi’s Message for 2020, a big sigh of relief and contentment came from deep inside me. “Yes, this is my Message!” I thought. And after I read “Gurumayi’s Words to the Wise” at the conclusion of the fourth “
Darshan and
Manan Gathering,” once again that same response arose from deep within me. Each time Gurumayi’s words brought me clarity and understanding.
During these unusual months I have held fast to
Atma Ki Prashanti and this has brought me a lot of comfort and strength. I have been able to offer my support to others more readily and more carefully. Over the years I have listened to Gurumayi's words and tried to act on them; they've gotten me out of a lot of scrapes and saved me a lot of heartache. While I am still working toward considering myself wise, I know that, like Gurumayi’s Message, her “Words to the Wise” from today are also for me.
