I love the divya sukta in which Gurumayi imparts this teaching: “Understand that shaktipat means opening the gate that leads to the heart of God.”
When I reflect on what this divya sukta means to me and how I experience its truth for myself, I am filled with a sense of great awe and deep gratitude. To be able to enter into “the heart of God” fulfills my deep longing of many lifetimes!
Immersing myself in this breathtaking world of God’s eternal love fascinates me beyond measure and adds priceless meaning to my life.

It is such a delight to discover the
Divya Suktas. They are so beautiful!
On reading the first one, I could immediately sense the highly concentrated energy field that is created by the
sankalpa of the Shaktipat Intensive. I felt drawn into the field straight away. Reading in this
sukta that Shaktipat opens “the gate to the heart of God” offers such a powerful visual sense of why this process works so deeply when we are present in the Shaktipat Intensive, and how the Intensive saturates us with the transformative power of grace. I am gratefutl to Baba and to Gurumayi for such a precious gift!
