In the past, I had associated Shri Hanuman with supreme devotion, courage, and strength. As I viewed these images, I was reminded of what supreme devotion really is. It is the sweetest love. In the photos of statues and paintings, love poured from Shri Hanuman’s eyes. It is tender, divine, selfless.
His strength is what I saw before today. Now I also see the source of his power— love of Lord Rama in his heart, always in his awareness. I felt that love deeply today.
Thank you, Gurumayi, for this website and the opportunity to learn and experience more and more about our path.

I looked at the ripples of water and the lighter colored water encroaching on the deeper blue waters of the lake, I imagined Hanuman’s stealth-like presence thundering along, yet silent at the same time.
I experienced my own capacity to feel soft and still, yet alert, present in every moment, and able to take on anything in this world. What an expansive feeling.

While viewing the images of Shri Hanuman in this beautiful gallery, I connected more deeply with him than ever before. Then, in the evening, my husband called me to come and look at the moon. It was a clear night, but just as I looked up, a robust cloud formation covered the moon. The moonlight shone brightly through it, giving the appearance of an illuminated face--which I was able to recognize from the images on the Siddha Yoga path website as that of Shri Hanuman!
I laughed, and we both marveled at the beauty of the sight. The moment was accompanied by a feeling of being deeply happy and protected.
