A love poem...
I looked for love throughout my life
But older wounds just caused more strife.
Until I met my dear Guru
Who sweetly said, "God dwells in you!"
So, one by one the wounds dispersed
And in her love I was immersed.
With each new day my blessings grew
As well, the love for my Guru.
And now this love I longed to find
is everywhere—so strong, so kind.
Yet what I now can clearly see
is love begins with only me.

After reading Gurumayi's
Love in Action 2019 from beginning to end, this poem came forth:
I am walking toward Love
every step of each day,
I try to show it in whatever I say.
I want my heart to open so wide
that whoever I meet will feel welcome inside.

I was so deeply touched to find that all the quotes are listed in full. Each of them broke open my heart in a different way, and also stopped my wandering mind in its tracks. I feel that I could read one a day for a very long time.
Thank you, Gurumayi, for your generosity.

The beautiful swan with its wings open, illustrating the quotation from Baba which says, "Liberate the love…," reminds me that thinking, speaking, and acting with true love is always a choice, that love is free to expand and that I am free to allow love into every moment. The conch shell which opens to "Love knows no distances…" brings me back to the truth that my beloved Guru is always calling in the form of the mantra, and that hearing the pulsation of the Guru is a way for me to be present in the Guru’s love.
Thank you, Gurumayi, for all these intricate, contemplation-inviting symbols and quotations.

This is the experience I have whenever I pull my senses inward for meditation, and remember Bade Baba’s teaching, "The heart is the hub of all sacred places. Go there and roam." I so love that teaching! It is such a profound experience for me to always remember where to rest my mind. Even in the midst of significant challenges, I know that I can, with conscious effort, find rest in the heart. It is from there that I communicate with others, and from there that I receive enormous support for leading my life.
Thank you, Gurumayi, for always guiding me into my heart.

As I opened
Love in Action, a soft feeling swept over me from head to toe. It was pure love, within and without. This love is still vibrating in my being. My Guru's love fills me.

The splendid heart in the middle of the opening pages of
Love in Action reminded me of Bade Baba’s teaching, “The heart is the hub of all sacred places. Go there and roam.” And when I started roaming in the images, my experience was like merging with my own essence, the Self.
The dots that appeared in the incomplete quotations reminded me not to slacken in my efforts in
sadhana, and to study Shri Gurumayi’s Message for 2019 and make my study complete in every respect. Later, when I clicked on Gurumayi’s name, I had
darshan of my beloved Gurumayi holding a rose in her hands, reminding me once again of
Sweet Surprise 2019.
Thank you, Gurumayi, for your teachings and all the means you provide to guide our minds to move toward the Heart.

Each of the symbols seems to pulse like my heart, like my breath. Each beautiful sign draws me into a mystery. Each click is like a knock on a door. Through this “treasure chest” I feel connected to all the hearts of this world, to the countless beautiful things of our earth, to the global
sangham, and to so much more.

As soon as I opened
Love in Action, I started to feel a huge, strong connection to Gurumayi. And when I reached her picture, I was completely immersed in that feeling and the loving sensation in my heart.
Thank you, Gurumayi, for the gift of your presence in my life and our heart-to-heart connection.

I was with three Siddha Yoga friends when I clicked on the Siddha Yoga path website and found this beautiful gift. We cherished every message with every click. We were laughing, and our hearts were full of love. Each message and symbol felt special.
There is one message that contains the word
friend in Hindi. The three of us looked at each other and felt the power of togetherness and connection in that moment. Our hearts were so full that we started chanting
Om Namo Bhagavate Muktanandaya. We all felt Gurumayi was somehow listening to us and that our love was reaching her directly on this special day.
Dhanyavad, Gurumayi ji! We are overflowing with love for our Guru.

I’m so grateful to Gurumayi for giving us yet another chance to honor our own great hearts. When I opened the Siddha Yoga path website today, I immediately put my hands on my chest and felt my heartbeat. I was breathing easefully, acknowledging the feeling of love in my heart. As I focused my attention in this way, I started to feel warmth. I thought of my family, who are all doing so well. I thought of the Guru’s great love and compassion, and I bowed silently to Gurumayi, Bade Baba, Baba, and all the Siddhas.

I felt such expansion, delight, and inspiration when I opened the icon that revealed Gurumayi’s guidance to "Liberate the love…." I truly felt liberated. I could feel the alchemy of the Guru’s love at work within me, releasing chains that have been silently binding my heart. I felt I was receiving God's permission to stop holding back on sharing love, permission that I didn’t know I felt I needed. With new understanding, I feel a renewed excitement for life—and tremendous gratitude for Gurumayi’s generosity and the vastness of her love.

I felt like a little child, opening gift after gift, each one a special secret. This, I thought, is the way life is supposed to be—full of delight in every moment! So sweet.

At first I was unsure how to unpack this
Love in Action “puzzle.” Then I started to click on all the letters and images freely. The freer I was, the more I discovered. The photo of Gurumayi made my heart just sing. And finding the full set of quotations by clicking on the heading for the post helped me to explore even further. I love the way this wonderful
Love in Action mystery is helping me to trust and apply my curiosity about life in general, and the Siddha Yoga teachings in particular.
