This morning I discovered the Om Guru Jaya Guru chant on the Siddha Yoga path website and immediately began chanting along. Throughout this day I have been chanting as I went through my daily activities—in the forest, in my living room, and while driving my car. I chanted to my dogs and to the horses that were grazing in the field near the forest. The intense and sacred energy in this chant gave me such hope and joy.

This morning when I connected to the Siddha Yoga path website, I felt a leap of joy and shouted, “How beautiful!”
The words to Om Guru Jaya Guru appeared on my screen. I immediately started singing it with enthusiasm. Then I remembered that I had to do very demanding household chores, and so, with the wonderful namasankirtana playing in the background, I began my tasks. To my surprise, I did everything with simplicity and a lot of strength, and I did much more than I had planned.
After washing the curtains, I climbed a ladder to rehang them; as I did so, I strengthened my chanting and called on Baba and Bade Baba to protect me from falling. As I cleaned my house, the time passed quickly and with true happiness. God was giving me strength and, above all, joy and lightness. I never felt tired.
What a wonderful experience I will carry throughout the day!

For me, this chant expresses the essence of Siddha Yoga teachings. I feel it carries the inherent
shakti of Bade Baba, Baba, and Gurumayi. Whenever I’m chanting this chant, I’m drawn effortlessly to my inner realms and I’m ecstatic, joyful, and resting in equipoise. This chant brings me into the company of Bade Baba, Baba, and Gurumayi and their abundant grace. What more should I ask or pray for?

How I love chanting
Om Guru Jaya Guru! It's a lovely blessing to be able to hear and chant this version. It feels so light and joyful, yet at the same time deeply powerful—like a current in a river, deeply protective, high and subtle.
I'm taken back to many great celebrations in Shree Muktananda Ashram when we chanted this for the
purnahuti, with our Guru’s name filling everyone with the Guru's love and bliss. This is the first time I have heard this chant with the words
Shri Sadguru within it, and it feels so right, like nectar on the tongue.

I loved chanting
Om Guru Jaya Guru with everyone this morning! The chant stayed with me throughout the day and I felt Baba’s presence so strongly. Later on I decided to go for a run at a beautiful field near our home.
As I ran, I continued to chant silently while I thought about all the surprising and delightful ways Baba has shown me over the years that he is always with me. When I finished my run, I grabbed my phone to take a quick photo of the field to send to a friend out in California. She immediately texted back, pointing out how much she loved Baba’s “Blue Pearl” in the sky over the silhouette of the distant mountains. I looked at the photo again and realized she was right! And there was no “logical” explanation for its presence at that hour. No stars yet, no planes, just clouds in a late afternoon sky.

I feel such bliss hearing and chanting this
namasankirtana today. It makes me smile and dance, and my heart is filled with love for the Guru. I feel I am experiencing the joyfulness that underlies all life, and I thank God for the grace of the Guru, who shows me the path back to the wellspring of joy within!
