History of the Community Service Award

1985 - 1986

Molly Whitehouse, a former trustee of the SYDA Foundation, was the first sponsor of the SYDA Foundation Community Service Award. Molly passed away in 1986.

1986 - 1995

For the next ten years the Community Service Award was sponsored by Jean and Frank D'Autilia. Jean served on the staff of the SYDA Foundation and was the executive producer of the Community Service Award. Frank was a trustee of the SYDA Foundation for eight years and its chief architect for twelve years.

1996 - Present

Each year since 1996, the SYDA Foundation Community Service Award has been produced by SYDA Foundation sevites and sponsored by SYDA Foundation donors.
